Fourteen Forty to promote expanding 23.5 Degrees franchisee to property market

23.5 Degrees, Starbucks first UK franchised business partner, has appointed Fourteen Forty to help raise its profile in the property market as it pursues ambitious growth plans.

The agency will help 23.5 Degrees to source new drive thru properties close to major retail destinations, and high street units in high-footfall areas.  It will start by marking the launch of its 50th store as a means to communicate to the property and investment community and to employees.

23.5 Degrees is named after the band of land, north and south of the equator, which is the world’s main coffee growing area.

Fourteen Forty will help promote 23.5 Degrees’ ability to move fast, using innovative modular design and build, so landlords can have their stores trading faster, and brining income sooner.

In just five years, 23.5 Degrees has launched 50 Starbucks stores, employing 700 people and serving some 5.6 million customers.  It expects to double these numbers in the current phase of expansion which will be supported by a new funding package and further equity investment.

Mark Hepburn, MD of 23.5 Degrees, said: “Fourteen Forty has an excellent grasp of the specialist audiences we need to reach to talk about the different elements of our business.”

James Boyd-Wallis, director at Fourteen Forty, said: “23.5 Degrees is a fantastic business which plays to our strengths, working with senior management to tell an effective business story about creating jobs and boosting local economies.”
