Jason Nisse

I spent 20 years on British national newspapers, including six years as a business editor, before becoming director of media relations for Barclays plc.

In 2007 I moved into consultancy, firstly at Fishburn Hedges, then as a founding partner of Newgate Communications and, since 2017, operating independently.

I specialise in advising on corporate and financial communications, special situations and crisis support, also providing media and message training as well as board level communications consultancy.

Among the clients I have advised are Advanced Workplace Associates, Just Eat Takeaway, Index Ventures, Cenkos Securities, Centamin, SME Alliance, BT, Glencore, HM Treasury, AXA, Zurich, Barclays, Nestle, PwC, Investec, Sidewalk Labs and the award winning campaign for 10,000 Black Interns as well as supporting the shareholder activist in Purplebricks.

I have also lectured on crisis communications at Harvard University and King’s College, University of London.
